F.C.S.S.E.SThe society is the caretaker and custodian of the fabulous Star Hall in Finedon
The Hall which has a long and checkered history is the home of the society and the home of the Finedon Pantomime. Shows have been performed here since 1933. Check out Past Pantomimes for the list of Pantomimes from 1933 to present day. The society is a non-profit making venture and all monies raised go towards the not inconsiderable costs of maintaining the building and all its fixtures and fittings. New toilets and foyer have been added in recent years and more recently the backstage areas were re-vamped. The latest modification is the extension of the stage giving greater depth to the performance area. There is always something that needs attention in such an old and historic building. As well as the annual Pantomime in late January / early February there are various plays and musicals performed both by FCCSES and other local theatre groups throughout the year. Please come along and support us, we need all the help we can get! If you are interested in joining the society pop along to the AGM after panto and get involved we would love to hear from you.
